About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is part of the hotel’s “Heart of the House” team and helps provide a clean, fresh, consistent guest experience by ensuring linens meet quality standards. The role operates and monitors laundry equipment, processes and organizes linens, maintains a clean work area, supports linen inventory, and delivers clean linens to housekeeping. The attendant also follows safety procedures, reports concerns, and assists with additional housekeeping duties as needed. A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Requirements

Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
Reliability, organization, and commitment to cleanliness standards.
Professional communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment, using chemicals properly.
Sort, inspect, and treat linens according to fabric type and condition; rewash or remove damaged items as needed.
Load and unload machines, select appropriate cycles, and ensure items meet cleanliness and quality standards.
Fold, stack, and organize linens according to brand standards.
Keep work areas organized and clean, and routinely clean equipment such as lint traps and filters.
Track linen usage and support inventory processes.
Deliver clean linens to housekeeping and respond promptly to team and guest needs.
Follow safety procedures and report maintenance or linen concerns.
Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed.
