About The Position

A hotel laundry attendant is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and maintaining hotel linens and guest clothing while ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper operation of laundry equipment.

Requirements

Ability to operate and maintain laundry equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning and laundry chemicals.
Basic sewing skills for minor repairs.
Attention to detail for stain and damage management.
Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols.
Physical ability to lift and move linens and equipment.
Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Wash, dry, iron, fold, and sort hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing according to hotel standards.
Pre-treat stains, perform minor sewing repairs, and report damaged items.
Operate and maintain washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely; clean dryer filters and ensure all machinery is functional.
Track laundry detergents, sewing kits, and other supplies; ensure proper stock levels.
Deliver clean linens to guest rooms or housekeeping carts and collect soiled laundry from rooms.
Assist with general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning public areas, vacuuming corridors, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Adhere to hotel safety, hygiene, and chemical handling protocols.
