About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Laundry Associate I for Centralized Laundry Services. The role supports laundry operations by handling clean and soiled linens. The position is based at Laundry Services in Springfield, Illinois, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $22.28; the actual rate depends on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Requirements

Experience is not necessary.
A high school diploma is preferred; a GED or vocational training may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

Load and unload clean and soiled laundry delivery carts.
Sort soiled linen.
Sort, iron, spread, and fold laundry by hand or machine as required.
