About The Position
Avante at Inverness Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department. This role is crucial in ensuring the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, and that an adequate supply of linen is available for residents' needs, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, and as directed by the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services and/or the Administrator.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must speak and understand English.
- Positive attitude toward the elderly.
- Must be a High School Graduate.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department.
- Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
- Ensure an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.
