About The Position

Luxury Senior Living Communities in Kendall, Coral Gables & Homestead are looking for a Laundry Aide for its Palace Renaissance & Royale Assisted Living & Catered Living Community. This community is CARF Accredited and was Rated #1 in the US of all communities surveyed by CARF in 2016. The primary focus of this role is to maintain and distribute a clean supply of bed linens, towels, and wash cloths for residents, as well as ensuring residents' personal laundry is kept clean, non-wrinkled, and spot-free.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions in English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be able to operate industrial size washer and dryer.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Spanish preferred.
• Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
• Flexible as to work schedule.
• Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.
• Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash all laundry and separate items as outlined in facility policies & procedures.
• Keep laundry room and shelves clean and organized.
• Fold and put away towels, sheets, blankets, etc.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
