About The Position
The Village of Winston Park has an exciting opportunity for a Laundry Aide Team Member to join their team. This is a Temporary Part-Time position located at 695 Block Line Road, Kitchener. The hiring rate for this role is $19.03 as per collective agreement/employee association agreement. The shift details are evenings, 1:00pm - 9:00pm, 30 hours biweekly. Requirements
- Comfortable lifting 15-25 lbs

- Experience working in a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home setting
- An understanding Infection Control and Isolation Protocols
Responsibilities
- Carry out all laundry duties according to the procedures of the Village
- Maintain safe handling of all supplies and equipment
- Co-operate with all Departments to assure safe, continual operation and efficiency
- Review all policy and procedure manuals annually and/or when changes occur
- Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support
