About The Position

Laundry Aides play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients and residents. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and values being part of a team that makes a meaningful impact every day. As a Laundry Aide, you will provide warm, friendly service to residents, visitors, and coworkers while ensuring linens are handled safely, efficiently, and with care. Experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train individuals with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills
Hospitality or cleaning experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Sort wet linens into appropriate tubs for drying
Dry laundry loads and prepare items for folding
Fold towels, washcloths, diapers, bibs, gowns, pillowcases, and draw sheets
Work with another aide to fold sheets and blankets
Stock and deliver linen carts to assigned floors; respond to linen requests promptly
Assist with unloading personal laundry and hanging clothing when time allows
After 1:00 p.m., collect linens from floors, sort, load washers, apply cleaning solutions, and operate machines
Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning lint traps
Sanitize tables daily; sweep floors; sanitize shelves and carts weekly
Complete daily linen count sheets
Attend required in-services and mandatory education sessions
