About The Position
Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated and reliable Laundry Aide to join our environmental services team full-time. You will maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents by managing facility linens and personal clothing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and respect for resident privacy and property.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Prior laundry or housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron facility linens and resident clothing.
- Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated storage areas promptly.
- Operate commercial washing machines and dryers safely according to instructions.
- Sort and treat stained items with appropriate cleaning agents.
- Maintain organized, stocked, and sanitary laundry rooms and carts.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and hazardous communication policies.
