Requirements

2-5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes in a fast-paced job shop environment.
Experience with Fanuc and/or HAAS controls preferred.
Strong understanding of feeds and speeds and the ability to optimize machining performance.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T.
Strong shop math skills.
Working knowledge of reading and editing G-Code.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pin gauges.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Manual machining experience.
Experience with vertical turning lathes (VTLs).
CAD/CAM knowledge.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
Select tooling, adjust offsets, and optimize feeds and speeds to maximize efficiency and part quality.
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary machine and program adjustments.
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
Perform manual machining operations when required.
