About The Position

Join A to Z Machine, an employee-owned company, as a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist. We are seeking individuals with at least 3 years of experience in a job shop environment to program, set up, and operate Doosan CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. This role involves working on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines in a non-production setting, collaborating with the team on efficient machining methods, and ensuring part quality based on blueprints. Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC lathe experience in a job shop environment
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Self-sufficiency with a strong desire to grow and improve
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Nice To Haves

• Experience with multi-axis machining or live tooling
• Thrive in a high-mix, low-volume environment
• Enjoy mentoring others or learning new CAD/CAM and fixturing processes

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Doosan CNC lathes (12-32" chucks) with Fanuc controls
• Work on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines in a non-production setting
• Collaborate with the team to choose the most efficient machining methods
• Ensure accuracy and part quality based on blueprints and specs
• Follow 6S and safety protocols to maintain a top-tier work environment
