Lateral Police Officer
About The Position
The Florence Police Department is accepting applications for a Lateral Police Officer position for certified peace officers. Starting pay is $35.24 per hour, equivalent to approximately $73,308 annually, with an additional $4,653 per year added to the employee’s salary in accordance with KLEFPF eligibility. Salary depends on years of experience. Applicants may need to complete and submit the City’s employment application. To potentially qualify for lateral pay, applicants must have at least two years of full-time employment with a state, county, or municipal police or sheriff’s department, or a similar agency such as an airport or university.
