About The Position

Agiliti is a nationwide medical equipment management company serving hospitals, healthcare facilities, and local service centers. Surgical Laser Technicians maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel. They ensure equipment is working and ready for use before, during, and after each surgery. The role is based in the Henrietta District in Henrietta, New York. The position may require certain vaccinations or proof of current vaccination status based on customer or company requirements. If vaccination is required, Agiliti will provide instructions and cover the expense at a participating clinic, including for COVID-19 vaccination.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods and bend and reach repeatedly.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, sit, and stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience.

Responsibilities

Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room prior to procedures.
Be present in the operating room during procedures; the level of involvement is subject to physician demands.
Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment after procedures.
Communicate equipment defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner to support operational excellence.
Transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for procedures.
Maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel.
