About The Position

Agiliti is a nationwide medical equipment management company serving hospitals, healthcare facilities, and local service centers. The Surgical Laser Technician maintains professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel. The role ensures equipment is working and ready for use before, during, and after each surgery. The position is associated with Agiliti’s Baltimore District and is based in Hanover, Maryland, with work at area hospitals.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods and bend and reach repeatedly.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, sit, and stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience.

Responsibilities

Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room before procedures.
Be present in the operating room during procedures; the level of involvement is subject to physician demands.
Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment after procedures.
Communicate equipment or vehicle defects and required maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for procedures.
Maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel.
