About The Position

Agiliti’s Surgical Laser Technicians help ensure surgical equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use before, during, and after procedures. They maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel through their appearance and behavior. Technicians may be present in the operating room during procedures, with their level of involvement determined by physician needs. The position also includes transporting equipment and communicating equipment or vehicle defects and maintenance needs to relevant stakeholders. The primary job location is the Cleveland District, with the listed location in Brecksville, Ohio.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods, bend and reach repeatedly, and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, sit, and stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience.

Responsibilities

Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room before procedures.
Be present in the operating room during procedures; the level of involvement is subject to physician demands.
Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment after procedures.
Communicate defects or necessary maintenance for vehicles and equipment to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for procedures.
Maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel.
