About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Laser Machine Operator to set up, program, and operate laser cutting equipment for stainless steel tubing. This role is responsible for producing high-quality parts to specification while maintaining efficiency, safety, and equipment performance. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC or laser cutting machines
• Experience with stainless steel tubing and tube laser cutting strongly preferred
• Proficiency in machine programming (G-code, CAD/CAM software, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with tube laser systems (e.g., BLM, Mazak, Trumpf, or similar)
• Familiarity with nesting software and production optimization
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Forklift or material handling experience (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines for stainless steel tubing
• Program machines using CAD/CAM or CNC software to meet production requirements
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Adjust machine settings to ensure precision cuts and optimal performance
• Inspect finished parts to verify quality and dimensional accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain production records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
