About The Position
The Laser Operator I is responsible for operating laser machines and learning to make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for material tooling, machine, or program conditions. This role involves checking the daily schedule, maintaining workload, performing quality checks, and managing logs. The operator will also be responsible for verifying serial numbers, staging completed carts, and conducting shift-change briefs. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs
- Must meet ATF requirements for firearm possession

Responsibilities
- Operate multiple laser machines simultaneously
- Check daily schedule and maintain workload
- Perform quality checks throughout processes
- Maintain serial number logs and cleaning logs daily
- Accurately fill out depth chart
- Maintain machine cleanliness
- Remove existing stickers and check box for imperfections and sturdy divider
- Verify the serial number on lowers to paperwork and box label
- Immediately hand over identified and serialized scrap or duplicate to ATF Compliance
- Ensure completed carts are properly staged in the tool room
- Conduct shift-change brief
