About The Position

Cutting Dynamics, LLC, part of the Re:Build family of companies, is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join their production team in Avon, Ohio. Re:Build Manufacturing is a growing industrial and engineering business focused on revitalizing US manufacturing through operational excellence and technological advancement. This is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on operating CNC laser cutting machinery to produce high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate is reliable, precise, and mechanically inclined, with at least 2 years of CNC laser cutting experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Requirements

  • Demonstrates competence to perform essential duties and responsibilities during a 90-day introductory period
  • Demonstrates inspection competence.
  • Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.

  • 2–3 years of CNC laser cutting experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Proven experience cutting aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical competence with solid math and measurement skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Reliable teammate with excellent communication skills and willingness to work 2nd shift (Mon–Thurs, 4:00 PM 2:30 AM)

Responsibilities

  • Operate laser and related equipment safely and accurately
  • Load and unload parts and materials into machines
  • Monitor machines during operation and detect any malfunctions
  • Assemble and process parts according to specifications
  • Inspect finished products to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Record production and operational data as needed
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures consistently
  • Support general manufacturing tasks as needed on the shop floor
