About The Position

The Laser / Inspection Process Engineer will be responsible for setting up, managing, and operating laser and inspection processes and equipment. This role requires an understanding of physics, optics, and electronics engineering to maintain process optimization based on target materials. The engineer will own engineering projects to execute yield roadmaps, device targeting, and performance targets, utilizing Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize process conditions. Collaboration with cross-organizational teams for root cause analysis and failure analysis is essential, along with operating process management according to customer specifications. The position also involves supporting recipe standardization and establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through engineering, and performing statistical process control tasks.

Requirements

Effective organizational, interpersonal, and strong communication skills are required.
Analytical thinking by data science and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with semiconductor/Substrate integration processes.

Nice To Haves

Experience with module processes such as laser ablation (cutting, dicing), laser deposition, laser drill and mechanical cutting, grinding and metrology preferred but not required.
1-year experiences in Semiconductor, PWB, OSAT & Laser preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Set up, manage, operate laser, inspection process and equipment based on understanding of physics and optics, electronics engineering.
Maintain process optimization based on knowledge of target materials.

Perform statistical process control tasks through the use of statistical tools.
