About The Position

Operate laser cells by performing routine preventative maintenance, loading programs, troubleshooting, and facilitating material loading and unloading. The role also supports production flow by preparing and staging loads for subsequent operations while maintaining a safe and orderly work area.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Capable of interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of SPC and part inspection methods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Computer literate.
• Concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Fork truck operation.
• Overhead crane operation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience running a laser in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean scrap trays at prescribed intervals and maintain slat cleanliness.
• Read and understand blueprints and part specifications.
• Load and unload tables and vault; stage containers and tag loads for next operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area, promote safety, and adhere to Wayne Metals, LLC safety rules.
• Perform other tasks as required by the manager.
