About The Position

While working as a Large Format Operator, you will be tasked with fulfilling duties related to prepping and quality checking substrates, pre and post-production, and operating the large format equipment to produce various types of signage. The person in this position assists with the Production department by ensuring jobs meet internal quality control standards and have a smooth installation process.

Requirements

A High School Diploma is required
Solid understanding of computers, data entry, internet searches, the Microsoft Office suite and email applications
Ability to write effective correspondence to customers and coworkers
Mathematical abilities required by this job include reading a ruler, calculating simple costs, and other basic mathematical skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time
Reaching with hands and arms is regularly required to walk, stoop, and bend over
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Proactive thinker/problem solver

Nice To Haves

Some prior experience or training in print is preferred

Responsibilities

Understand different substrates and prepare them to be printed
Set up, operate, and trouble shoot various large format equipment independently
Accurately assist to install a variety of signage and large format materials using power and hand tools, adhesives, stud finders and leveling equipment
Review job box for accuracy and report errors as needed
Complete quality control inspections and create packaging for finished jobs
Collaborate with multiple team members to ensure job completion by due date
Input finished jobs into the internal ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
Other duties as assigned
Work on job assignments in other departments as instructed
