About The Position

This role involves operating large format printing and production equipment to create a wide range of signage, from simple to complex assemblies. The position requires meticulous attention to detail in file preparation, production execution, and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in Large Format Digital printing
Proven understanding or experience using equipment including large format digital printers, UV flatbed printers, roll to roll printers, vinyl printers, laminators, and flatbed routers.
Strong computer and internet skills (multiple platforms)
Expertise with Adobe based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
Ability to manage and optimize workload, prioritize multiple projects, and streamline the production flow
Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail in design work
Skilled in copyediting/proofreading and desktop publishing
Ability to lift objects/rolls up to 50 pounds
Must be an energetic self-starter who is driven to succeed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
Knowledge of CNC Router or willingness to learn the equipment is crucial.

Responsibilities

Execute print/production and package signage, ranging from simple small signage to complex sign assemblies.
Read and calculate job orders, following specific customer instructions.
Coordinate incoming job orders for production.
Review artwork and prepare print files for printing using Adobe Creative Suite.
Produce jobs on multiple machines and various printers using shop tools and equipment.
Perform product finishing functions, including preparing and applying vinyl, banner-up installation, grommeting, and hemming.
Produce products in a timely manner and understand project prioritization.
Determine materials needed and stage materials for jobs.
Work closely with Sales and Production departments to ensure deadlines are met.
Prepare final product for shipping and delivery to multiple locations, creating custom packaging when necessary.
Perform regular basic maintenance of equipment.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed work environment.
