About The Position

AoPS Academy is seeking a passionate Language Arts Instructor to join their team. This part-time role involves teaching an engaging, company-created curriculum designed for advanced students in small classroom settings. The instructor will be responsible for actively involving students in learning, managing classrooms of up to 16 students, grading assignments, providing feedback, and building relationships with students and families to foster a love for learning and critical thinking.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required
Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s degree in education or a humanities field is strongly preferred
Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
Candidates must be available to teach during weekday after-school hours (as early as 4pm) and/or on weekends.
Candidates must be located in Millburn/Short Hills, NJ or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus.

Responsibilities
