About The Position

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville is an entertainment venue featuring bowling lanes, bars, food, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. The Lane Technician provides excellent guest service while maintaining bowling lanes and related equipment, including pinsetters, pins, bowling balls, and ball returns. The role helps ensure mechanical systems operate efficiently and supports a safe, functional bowling experience.

Requirements

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work later hours.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work closely and efficiently with others.
Ability to perform repeated reaching and stooping motions.
Ability to move throughout venue areas during the entire shift.
Ability to work around loud music, smoke, and crowds for extended periods.
Ability to stand or remain in a stationary position for the entire shift.
Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair bowling-related equipment.
Maintain and clean bowling lanes, including performing preventative maintenance.
Maintain stock and requisition supplies for bowling equipment.
Inventory bowling-related supplies, including balls, spare pins, and cleaning supplies, on a scheduled basis.
Administer computer systems used for bowling.
Maintain a safe and functional bowling experience.
Build and maintain positive relationships with guests.
Keep detailed records of parts, costs, and mechanical performance.
Assist with miscellaneous projects as directed.
Assist management in initiating smooth and efficient operations.
Work as part of a team to provide a strong overall guest experience.
Help guests enter names and make scoring changes.
