About The Position

Medxcel is hiring a Landscaping Tech I for the Facilities department at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. This full-time, day-shift role performs routine grounds and lawn care, landscaping installations, equipment operation and basic maintenance, material transport, and snow removal. The employee also assists facilities staff with projects, follows supervisor directions, interacts professionally with customers, and applies chemical treatments only under the direct guidance of a licensed applicator.

Requirements

• Experience in the landscaping field.
• State driver’s license and insurability with the company’s agent.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Nice To Haves

• Some high school education or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn care, including mowing, edging, weeding, and seasonal spring and fall cleanups.
• Dig trenches, haul and spread materials such as topsoil, mulch, and gravel, finish grades, and install seed, sod, or plants.
• Safely load, unload, and operate landscaping equipment; perform basic maintenance on tools; and assist with material transport and snow removal.
• Arrive on time, follow supervisor directions, assist facilities staff on projects, and maintain a polite, professional demeanor with customers.
• Apply chemical treatments safely under the direct guidance of a licensed applicator.
