Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first! We are seeking a reliable and experienced Landscaping Lead to oversee daily grounds maintenance operations across multiple sites. This role is responsible for leading a small crew, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of both performing and directing landscaping and general grounds work. This position pays $20 – 23/hr.

Requirements

Prior experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance required
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Previous leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a crew performing landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks
Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to standard
Perform hands-on work including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and seasonal cleanups
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
Monitor job quality and address any deficiencies in real-time
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with management regarding progress, issues and needs
Assist with scheduling, site coverage, and material/equipment planning
Support additional facility or grounds-related tasks as needed
