About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Landscaping Lead to oversee daily grounds maintenance operations across multiple sites. This role is responsible for leading a small crew, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of both performing and directing landscaping and general grounds work.

Requirements

• Prior experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance required
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew performing landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks
• Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to standard
• Perform hands-on work including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and seasonal cleanups
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Monitor job quality and address any deficiencies in real-time
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with management regarding progress, issues, and needs
• Assist with scheduling, site coverage, and material/equipment planning
• Support additional facility or grounds-related tasks as needed
