About The Position

The Landscape Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates for landscape construction, hardscape, irrigation, grading, drainage, concrete, and specialty outdoor projects. This position works closely with clients, designers, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to develop detailed proposals that align with company standards and profitability goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in landscape construction or related construction industry.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LMN estimating software.
• Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or AutoCAD.
• Degree in Landscape Design, Construction Management, Horticulture, or related field.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Conduct site visits to gather measurements and verify existing conditions.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare accurate proposals and change orders.
• Solicit vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Meet with residential and commercial clients.
• Present estimates and follow up on bids.
• Prepare complete project handoff documentation for Operations.
• Utilize LMN for estimating, budgeting, and job costing.
• Maintain estimating databases and project files.
• Evaluate completed projects to improve estimating accuracy.
