Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 1-year experience supervising a landscape maintenance crew with a minimum of 2 employees
  • Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and bend and stoop on a routine basis
  • Must have a valid NC Driver's license, pass a pre-employment and annual MVR check, and maintain a good driving record
  • Must adhere to Granite Hills Group handbook policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and training 2-4 team member crews in all aspects of landscape management
  • Motivating and inspiring team members daily
  • Hands-on position requiring weed control, mowing, fertilization application, blowing, trash removal, raking, etc.
  • Collaborating with Operations Managers to schedule, monitor and report daily workloads
  • Managing the overall quality of assigned commercial landscape properties
  • Fostering a strong culture of safety, collaboration, teamwork, and excellence on the crew
  • Safely driving a truck and that may or may not include a trailer
  • Managing job hours
  • Basic working knowledge and understanding of irrigation systems
