About The Position

Under the supervision of the Field Operations Manager, we are looking for a landscape team member who performs those landscaping tasks necessary to meet contract specifications. This role is part of a federal AbilityOne contract, which mandates that most of the work hours must be carried out by individuals with disabilities. Due to program requirements, this particular position must be filled by a person with a disability. This position requires that the employee must successfully complete criminal history information background check.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand a majority of the work time, walk a significant portion, and bending.
- Must be able to lift/carry 35 pounds and push/pull 35 pounds in order to clean work areas and handle supplies and equipment.
- Must be able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Must have three (3) to six (6) months training or experience working as a landscaper preferred, or be capable of learning to perform the essential functions.
- Must be able to pass security clearance for designated contracts.
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and handle.
Nice To Haves
- The ideal candidate should hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity.

- Maintain issued equipment.
- Notify supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasks.
- Cooperate with team members.
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor.
