About The Position
Willow Valley Communities (WVC) is hiring Summer-Only Landscaper/Gardeners to help maintain their stunning grounds across two beautifully landscaped campuses. This role is ideal for individuals who love working outdoors, enjoy hands-on work, and appreciate beautiful surroundings. The Landscaper/Gardener will play a key role in keeping Willow Valley Communities vibrant and welcoming throughout the summer season.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience
- Ability to work outdoors in various summer conditions
- A team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Preparing and grading terrain
- Applying fertilizers, seeding and sodding lawns
- Planting and transplanting trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Trimming, pruning, and shaping shrubs and trees
- Cultivating gardens and maintaining flower beds
- Edging and trimming around walkways, walls, and landscaped areas
- Raking leaves and removing debris
- Watering lawns, gardens, and shrubs
- Keeping grounds clean and inviting
