About The Position

Southall is a premier destination bringing nature, produce and people together in a powerful and unique way. At Southall Farm & Inn, we are looking for a hands-on, environmentally conscious Landscape Supervisor to support the maintenance and enhancement of our resort’s lush resort-style grounds. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both physical outdoor work and leading a team. The Landscape Supervisor will assist the Landscape Manager with inspections, task planning, and crew oversight, while spending at least 50% of their time performing landscape labor. A working knowledge of irrigation systems and low-voltage lighting is required, along with a passion for sustainable landscaping practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance.
  • Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong physical work ethic and ability to lead by example in the field.
  • Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and low-voltage lighting.
  • Commitment to sustainable, environmentally responsible landscaping practices.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine landscape tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, and seasonal cleanups.
  • Assist with minor irrigation repairs and low-voltage lighting maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the resort’s high aesthetic and environmental standards.
  • Assist the Landscape Manager with weekly property inspections to identify maintenance needs and areas for improvement.
  • Help develop and manage task lists based on inspection findings.
  • Support task delegation and follow up with team members to ensure timely and high-quality work.
  • Step in as needed to cover gaps in the crew and maintain daily workflow.
  • Promote and implement eco-friendly landscaping practices, including water conservation, native plant care, and organic methods.
  • Lead by example and encourage sustainable practices among all crew members.
  • Work closely with the Landscape Manager and team to ensure a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with crew and other departments regarding landscaping needs, updates, and priorities.
  • Operating the following equipment will be part of the regular duties for this role: Skid Steer, Mini Skid Steer, Excavator, Trencher, Tractor, Bush Hog.
