Landscape Services Worker II
About The Position
The Landscape Services Worker II position involves performing a wide range of duties using heavy, light, and small equipment, as well as hand tools and manual labor. Key responsibilities include the maintenance and construction of hard and soft landscaping, pond maintenance, upkeep of furnishings and signs, snow removal, irrigation installation and repair, pruning, and setting up and taking down special events. The role also encompasses various delivery tasks and procedures that necessitate adjustments in work schedules to meet objectives. A significant portion of the day is spent outside the department. It is critical for operators to be alert, cautious, and maintain clear visuals of all hazards and safety concerns, especially when working amidst large crowds and onsite traffic. The position demands quick adaptability and responsiveness to last-minute requests or unforeseen situations.
