About The Position

Sensei Lāna’i, A Four Seasons Resort, is looking for a Landscape Worker 1 who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

Requirements

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Ability to work in a wide range of environmental and physical conditions

Responsibilities

• Performs basic landscaping and horticulture tasks for hotel grounds, including manual weeding, watering, plant propagation in the nursery, and general upkeep of landscaped areas.
• Operates non-riding lawn mowers, weed whackers, and other landscape maintenance equipment to support overall grounds beautification.
• Follows all safety procedures to ensure the well-being of self and team members, while using proper care and protection of company property.
• Completes general landscape labor with limited supervision.
• Uses a variety of hand tools, such as hand trowels, garden shears, and hand weeders.
• Assists with irrigation maintenance, including basic PVC pipe connections and repairs.
• Removes debris, rubbish, and other materials to maintain clean and presentable hotel grounds.
• Supports water garden maintenance and related tasks.
• Performs lifting and other physically demanding duties as required.
