About The Position

Production Managers at LandCare are crucial members of the operations team. They lead frontline crews to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety while creating landscapes that inspire clients. The role oversees production planning, cost estimation, and materials procurement, and is directly involved in hiring and training crew members. Production Managers partner with Account Managers and clients to assess landscape quality and service needs, create detailed job service plans using LandCare’s Aspire software, and guide supervisors and team members at client jobsites. They also support business profitability through operational planning and cost management, oversee staffing, promote a safety-oriented culture, and mentor supervisors and crew members.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Managers and clients to conduct landscape quality audits, review task execution, identify maintenance needs, and recommend enhancement opportunities.
Create detailed job service plans for each client using LandCare’s Aspire software system.
Plan and oversee production, providing guidance to supervisors and team members at client jobsites to support customer satisfaction and timely, effective service.
Identify opportunities to improve production methods and provide additional training to team members.
Contribute to profitability goals through monthly operational planning, management of labor and materials costs, and review of financial reports and results.
Oversee hiring and staffing needs to ensure teams are appropriately staffed.
Promote a safety-oriented culture and hold team members accountable for following safety procedures.
Educate and train crew members on safety topics.
Mentor supervisors to help them lead teams and develop crew member talent.
Oversee production planning, cost estimation, and materials procurement.
