About The Position

Production Managers at LandCare are members of the operations team who lead frontline crews to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety while creating landscapes for clients. The role oversees production planning, cost estimation, and materials procurement, and is directly involved in hiring and training crew members. Production Managers work with Account Managers and clients on landscape quality, guide supervisors and team members at client jobsites, contribute to profitability goals, and promote a safety-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers and clients to perform landscape quality audits, review task execution, identify maintenance needs, and recommend enhancement opportunities.
• Create detailed job service plans for each client using LandCare’s Aspire software system.
• Provide production planning, oversight, and guidance to supervisors and team members at client jobsites to support customer satisfaction and timely, effective service.
• Identify opportunities to improve production methods and provide additional training to team members.
• Plan monthly operations, manage labor and materials costs, and review financial reports and results to contribute to profitability goals.
• Oversee hiring and staffing needs to ensure teams are appropriately staffed.
• Promote a safety-oriented culture and hold team members accountable for following safety procedures.
• Educate and train crew members on safety topics.
• Mentor supervisors in leading teams and developing crew member talent.
