Comanche Trace, located in Kerrville, TX, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Landscape Production Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The 'Landscape Maintenance Production Manager' is knowledgeable in all aspects of Landscape Maintenance. This position manages all landscape maintenance crews. This is a physically demanding position. You are expected to assist your crew’s daily. Your responsibilities as ‘Landscape Maintenance Production Manager’ include, but are not limited to the following: Be able to communicate the company's goals to homeowners concerning landscape maintenance quality and processes at Comanche Trace. Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, landscape yard and homeowner work sites. Conduct training of field staff on all maintenance equipment and use techniques. Attend walkthroughs, as requested by homeowners, with foremen and Manager. Work with Manager scheduling labor, equipment and materials to accomplish production schedules. Maintain strict adherence to established schedules and budgets. Understand contract specifications and confirm they are met with complete satisfaction from homeowners by conducting daily quality checks. Respond to homeowner complaints in a manner to achieve excellent satisfaction. Report on all issues with personnel, equipment, and homeowners to Manager. Along with Manager, oversee the work of all subcontractors on landscape maintenance projects. Review finished work of all Subcontractors to confirm work and cleanup is performed to Comanche Trace standards and contract specifications. Maintain adequate supply levels to ensure uninterrupted production. Ensure all work is completed in adherence to safety policies and guidelines. Investigate all accidents or safety violations with Manager, prepare appropriate reports, take action to correct and prevent future occurrences. Perform seasonal irrigation controller programming if irrigator is unavailable. Confirm with Manager. Evaluate and advise homeowners regarding any recommended treatments for plant diseases, insects and soil-borne problems. Requirements

Candidate must have prior landscaping experience.
Able to direct and participate in the construction and maintenance of the grounds; and performs related tasks as required.
Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.
Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Performs other duties as required.
Designs landscape plans for facility grounds and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of that plan.
