About The Position

The Landscape Operations Administrator is responsible for various duties throughout the landscape development life cycle. This position is a liaison between the Horticulturist/Landscape Architect and the appropriate agencies for Colen Built Development, LLC and its related entities. Furthermore, this position will focus on bridging the gap between field operations and management staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Landscaping and Irrigation operations or related industry required
  • Strong customer service experience required
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, oversee projects and personnel
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work well either alone and/or as part of a team
  • Ability to use critical thinking, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills effectively

  • Experience in Bluebeam and Dropbox is preferred, or willingness to learn the program is required

Responsibilities

  • Maintains consistent daily communication with the Horticulturist/Landscape Architect concerning landscape installation and maintenance clerical needs
  • Ensure landscape and irrigation designs adhere to current BLCCDD and other applicable governing agency regulations
  • Provides oversight during landscape and irrigation project installations
  • Performs routine community drive throughs to evaluate overall landscape appearance
  • Monitors budgets, keeping them up to date and tracking expenses accordingly for year-to-date fiscal responsibility
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings for the Horticulturist/Landscape Architect
  • Provides scheduling oversight for the Land Development team
  • Assists the Horticulturist/Landscape Architect with plan reviews
  • Acts as the main point of contact for contractors
  • Oversees the landscape and irrigation project close out process
  • Assists in generating contract documents for landscape installation and maintenance
  • Approves monthly invoicing from subcontractors for maintenance contracts
  • Files paperwork/correspondence for the department as necessary
  • Performs all duties in adherence to Company standards
  • Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, contractors and co-workers
  • Performs other duties as assigned
