Landscape Maintenance Lead Hand
About The Position
We’re looking for a skilled Lead Hand to join our landscape maintenance team — someone who can run a crew and step in when the Foreman’s away. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance
- You’ve led a crew or are ready to take that step
- You take initiative, communicate well, and don’t cut corners
- Valid driver’s license is required
Responsibilities
- Leading a maintenance crew on regular routes (mowing, trimming, weeding, garden cleanups)
- Filling in for the Foreman as needed — managing sites, staying on schedule, and coordinating with the office
- Training newer crew members and making sure the job’s done right
- Reporting issues like irrigation breaks, plant problems, or extras that need quoting
