About The Position

Tri Scapes is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to oversee landscape maintenance operations in Augusta, Georgia, and surrounding areas. This working leader will guide field crews in the daily maintenance, landscaping, and general upkeep of commercial properties and facility grounds. The role calls for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person who takes pride in public spaces and can ensure work meets strict safety and quality standards. The foreman will lead maintenance and grounds-care work across multiple park locations, including athletic field preparation, and support the development of crew members. The position offers stable, year-round employment and opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

At least 2 years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience; parks and recreation experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily crew operations for landscape maintenance, grounds care, and facility upkeep across multiple park locations.
Oversee athletic field preparation, mowing, edging, weed control, and debris removal.
Schedule daily tasks and ensure work orders are completed efficiently according to the municipal contract.
Maintain crew safety by ensuring team members properly use personal protective equipment and operate machinery safely.
Inspect completed work to maintain the required aesthetic standards for public spaces.
Serve as a primary field contact and communicate professionally with city representatives and park patrons.
Manage and inventory company vehicles, commercial mowers, trimmers, and other specialized equipment, and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Train and develop crew members, promoting consistency, mutual respect, and professional excellence.
