About The Position

Tri Scapes is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to oversee landscape maintenance operations in Augusta, Georgia, and surrounding areas. This working leader guides field crews in the daily maintenance, landscaping, and general upkeep of commercial properties and facility grounds, ensuring operations meet safety and quality standards. The role includes maintaining public park spaces, preparing athletic fields, coordinating work orders, communicating with city representatives and park patrons, and managing crew members, vehicles, and equipment.

Requirements

At least 2 years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience; parks and recreation experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily crew operations for landscape maintenance, grounds care, and facility upkeep across multiple park locations.
Oversee athletic field preparation, mowing, edging, weed control, and debris removal.
Schedule daily tasks and ensure work orders are completed efficiently according to the municipal contract.
Maintain crew safety by ensuring team members properly use personal protective equipment and operate machinery safely.
Inspect completed work to maintain the aesthetic standards required for Johns Creek public spaces.
Serve as a primary field contact and communicate professionally with city representatives and park patrons.
Manage and inventory company vehicles, commercial mowers, trimmers, and other specialized equipment, and ensure proper maintenance.
Train and develop crew members, promoting consistency, mutual respect, and professional excellence.
