About The Position

EarthScapes Lawn & Land Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead a crew while working alongside them in the field. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set the pace, maintain high standards, and help their crew succeed. The company has provided professional lawn and land care throughout Coastal Virginia since 1996.

Requirements

5+ years of professional landscape maintenance experience
2+ years of experience as a Crew Leader, Foreman, or similar landscaping leadership role
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong experience operating commercial landscaping equipment
Ability to effectively lead, train, and motivate a crew
Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of plant materials and seasonal landscape care is preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Responsibilities

Lead and work alongside a crew of 2+ landscape maintenance team members
Oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, and other routine landscape maintenance
Operate commercial-grade mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and related equipment
Conduct pre- and post-job inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Train, motivate, and provide direction to crew members
Ensure company safety procedures are followed on every job
Communicate with management regarding scheduling, supplies, and client feedback
Accurately complete timesheets and job completion records
