About The Position

Work for a fun landscape, green roof, and green wall construction company! This is a full-time seasonal position in Glenview, IL. We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team. You will perform a variety of physical duties to create and maintain beautiful, healthy outdoor environments for our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is a team player who is reliable, physically fit, and has experience overseeing a crew.

Requirements

3 to 5+ years of landscaping experience
2+ years of foreman experience
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift/move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various Chicago-area weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
Knowledge of landscape equipment, including tractors, mowers, leaf blowers, and aerators
Knowledge of landscaping techniques including plants and plant care
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite is required.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of landscape and green roof maintenance production including: Quality control, Jobsite safety
Daily time sheet entry for crew
Train Landscape Maintenance Laborers on: Proper use of equipment, Jobsite conduct
Oversee special projects for clients
Perform quality control checks after work is completed by crews
