Requirements
- Ability to lead a crew of 4-5.
- Ability to plan daily tasks and keep things on schedule.
- Knowledge of landscape builds and property maintenance.
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
- Experience running and maintaining landscaping equipment.
- Ability to report issues with equipment, vehicles, or materials.
- Experience working with contractors and understanding the construction process.
- Proficiency in practical math and problem-solving.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a truck and trailer.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, dig, and climb.
Responsibilities
- Leading a crew of 4–5.
- Planning daily tasks, keeping things on schedule, and making sure the Operations Manager isn’t left guessing.
- Guiding crews through landscape builds and property maintenance — from turf care to flower beds to outdoor spaces that make people stop and stare.
- Keeping things safe and compliant: codes, bylaws, and safety regs.
- Running and maintaining landscaping equipment — mowers, tractors, trimmers, pruning saws — and giving them some TLC (cleaning, greasing, inspecting).
- Reporting anything that’s broken, defective, or just not right (vehicles, tools, or materials).
- Working with contractors and understanding the construction process.
- Solving problems with practical math and sound judgment.
- Driving a truck and trailer like you own the road (but safely).
- Putting in the physical work: lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, digging, climbing.
