About The Position

The Client Representative/Production Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring high standards of quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction; while simultaneously leading, directing and training our production teams in the field. This is a key role that blends operations, sales, and horticultural expertise into a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. This role also has a strong emphasis on leadership and team management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in landscape account or operations management.
  • Strong horticultural knowledge and technical landscape maintenance skills.
  • Valid and clean Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency in industry software (Aspire, CompanyCam, GeoTab) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and maintenance specifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Georgia Certified Landscape Professional (preferred).
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for landscape maintenance clients.
  • Conduct property inspections and walkthroughs to identify needs and ensure contract compliance.
  • Develop and present proposals, enhancements, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate all services from proposal to execution with precision and timeliness.
  • Maintain proactive, professional communication with clients.
  • Support billing and collections related to ongoing or extra work services.
  • Conduct quality control visits and maintain work schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Ensure proper documentation for contracts, enhancements, and site changes.
  • Troubleshoot issues in the field and provide quick, effective solutions.
  • Achieve or exceed annual revenue goals and profitability targets.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling enhancements and new services.
  • Monitor budgets and contribute to job costing and P&L analysis.
  • Maintain accurate estimating and billing records for all services.
  • Develop and manage weekly and seasonal production schedules
  • Oversee all phases of plant production including irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pest/disease control, and proper plant health
  • Maintain Hazeltine Nursery’s quality standards by conducting routine inspections and ensuring plants meet size, health, and presentation expectations.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in production processes to improve
  • Oversee maintenance and usage of equipment, vehicles, and tools; coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Manage and lead crews to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Train staff on best practices, plant care techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
  • Assist management with crew performance evaluations, coaching, discipline, and recognition as appropriate.
  • Review and approve employee timecards and manage labor allocation to maximize efficiency and stay within budget.
  • Participates in regular safety meetings and ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as production output, shrinkage, labor efficiency, and cost per unit.
  • Assists in planning seasonal labor needs, equipment and supply requirements.
  • Engages with crews to ensure quality, productivity, and team morale.
  • Support communication with customers and suppliers when needed to ensure satisfaction and smooth operations.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings, planning sessions, and company initiatives.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with team members and leadership.
  • Follow Hazeltine Nursery policies, procedures, and core values.
  • Represent the company with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ensures all crew members are in professional and PPE attire
  • Assist with storm preparation and recovery efforts common
  • Support special projects, facility improvements, or expansion initiatives.
  • Participate in industry events, training, or continuing education opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
