About The Position

Green Oasis is a premier full-service lawn care, irrigation, landscape, and outdoor maintenance company in western Wisconsin and the Eastern Twin Cities Metro. They are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals to develop a career in the Landscape field. An experienced Landscape Foreman will be a critical backbone for one of their Landscape Installation Teams, contributing to superior customer satisfaction and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • General landscaping installation and maintenance experience with excellent references
  • Minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory role (for Foreman candidates)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, understand, and implement landscape designs, drawings and plans
  • Capability and talent to lead by example and work together with other team members
  • Knowledge, hands-on experience and aptitude to properly install retaining walls, freestanding walls, paver patios, natural walls, water features, plantings, etc.
  • General plant knowledge
  • Operational experience with skid loaders, mini excavators, truck with trailer, laser level, various concrete saws, bed edger, sod kicker, vibrating plate compactor and other landscape-specific tools
  • Ability to conduct onsite training for crew members
  • Must be able to successfully lead a crew of 2-5 team members, while actively participating in the project/installation
  • Snow removal familiarity and equipment operation skills
  • Punctual and reliable with availability to work seasonal hours, which may require long days based on the production schedule and weather variables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to customer interaction, email, change orders, etc.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to relocate to Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 before starting work

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive plant and/or growing knowledge
  • Basic or advanced mechanical and small engine aptitude and/or repair experience
  • Wood landscape structure installation and/or carpentry experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead a crew of 2-5 team members, while actively participating in the project/installation
  • Conduct onsite training for crew members
  • Read, understand, and implement landscape designs, drawings and plans
  • Properly install retaining walls, freestanding walls, paver patios, natural walls, water features, plantings, etc.
  • Work together with other team members
  • Engage in customer interaction, email, and change orders
  • Perform snow removal (as part of off-season employment opportunities)
