Requirements

  • Proven experience as Landscape foreman.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills.
  • Solid understanding of landscaping, tree and shrub planting, pavers and concrete.
  • Comfortable using tablets, construction software, and digital reporting systems.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, grades, and survey information.
  • Work unsupervised with a 3-5 person crew.
  • Have advanced knowledge of the fundamental principals of landscaping including grading, planting and hardscape.
  • Valid drivers license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GPS machine control, laser levels, or related construction technology is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work to maximize productivity and meet project schedules.
  • Being hands-on in field construction directly involved in all aspects of project construction including planning, construction, quantity verification, and safety.
  • Communicating to the project Superintendent upcoming needs for the project including materials, manpower and equipment.
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact production.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
  • Ensures that all work is being done safely and in an efficient manner that maintains Wilco's excellent quality.
  • Train, coach, and develop crew members while identifying future leaders with a focus on Wilco procedures and safe work practices.
  • Complete daily reporting, safety documentation, equipment inspections, payroll, using modern field technology.
