About The Position
GroundSystems, a locally owned commercial landscaping company based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is hiring a Landscape & Enhancements Crew Leader for its Blue Ash location. The hands-on role leads a crew of 1–4 employees, oversees daily operations, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The work includes landscape maintenance and enhancements, equipment operation, and tracking employee hours and job activities. The position offers year-round, full-time employment and opportunities for career advancement.
Requirements
- Must be at least 20 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license with no violations in the past three years.
- Ability to speak and understand basic English.
- Experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous landscaping experience.
- Previous crew leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train crew members.
- Perform landscape maintenance and enhancements, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, pruning, and seasonal cleanups.
- Ensure job site quality, productivity, and safety.
- Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment, trucks, and trailers.
- Track employee hours and job activities using a mobile device.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
