Landscape Enhancement Crew Member
About The Position
Blackjack Horticulture is a full-service landscape contractor specializing in maintenance, installation, floriculture, and masonry/hardscapes. Our mission is simple: making outdoor spaces a JOY, not a JOB. We're looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented team player to join our landscape enhancement crew. This position involves hands-on installation work — from planting trees and plants to laying sod — using handheld equipment, power equipment, and hand tools. You'll help bring residential and commercial landscapes to life while maintaining the quality and professionalism Blackjack is known for.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of landscaping experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and reliable team player
- Ability to perform physical, manual labor outdoors
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape installation on residential and commercial properties, including trees, plants, and sod
- Manage and complete installations within allotted project time
- Maintain Blackjack's quality standards on every job
- Report any issues or concerns to your supervisor
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and fellow Blackjack employees
- Operate handheld equipment, power equipment, and hand tools safely
