About The Position

We are seeking a Landscape Designer to contribute to residential outdoor design projects within a design-build environment, with a clear path toward client-facing and revenue-generating responsibilities over time. This is not a back-office drafting position. It is a genuine growth opportunity for an early-career designer who wants to develop across the full project lifecycle — from initial concept and 3D presentation through field execution. You will work closely with senior designers and installation teams, gaining meaningful exposure to how high-end residential projects are designed, presented, and sold. For the right candidate, this role serves as a foundation for advancement into a Senior Designer or combined Design and Sales position.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or a closely related field
  • Degree or formal training in landscape architecture, design, or a comparable discipline preferred
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software
  • Interest or foundational exposure to 3D modeling and client presentation development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a genuine willingness to engage with clients
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated interest in developing client-facing and consultative sales skills over time
  • Prior exposure to residential design-build environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of residential landscape concepts, layouts, and design narratives
  • Assist in producing 2D plans and 3D models for client-facing presentations
  • Participate in client meetings and design presentations alongside senior designers
  • Incorporate client feedback and project revisions with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage multiple active design tasks and deadlines across a concurrent project load
  • Collaborate with installation teams in the field to ensure faithful execution of design intent
  • Develop familiarity with the design-build sales process and how projects are positioned and closed
  • Contribute to growing design output capacity and supporting overall project backlog
  • Maintain well-organized project files, drawings, and documentation throughout each engagement

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Health insurance and benefits package
  • Retirement plan options
  • Paid time off
  • Defined growth path toward a Senior Designer or combined Design and Sales role
  • Hands-on exposure to high-end residential projects and client relationships from day one
