Landscape Crew Leader
About The Position
Currin Outdoor Living is seeking a hands-on Garden Install Leader who is passionate about plants, skilled at motivating crews, and proficient on job sites. This role involves working with designers and the operations team to create high-end landscapes. The company's mission is to foster relationships by creating beautiful outdoor spaces, guided by values of integrity, excellence, accountability, and teamwork. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, enjoys the outdoors, and finds satisfaction in seeing landscape projects through from beginning to end. This position requires leading and managing a landscape crew.
Requirements
- 2 years of landscape installation experience.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate basic landscape equipment.
- Ability to drive a light duty dump truck and have trailering experience.
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years of installation experience in Landscape Construction.
- Strong communication skills (Spanish is a plus).
- A passion for plants, teamwork, and creating beautiful spaces.
- A degree in horticulture or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a crew of 2–4 teammates.
- Transform detailed landscape designs into stunning gardens.
- Track daily tasks, hours, and materials.
- Operate equipment such as mini excavators, skid steers, and compactors.
- Drive light-duty dump trucks and practice safe trailering methods.
- Maintain organization of tools, trucks, and the shop.
- Communicate with the production manager to ensure smooth project execution.
